  • Connecting Switches using 1000BASE-T SFP

    Hi,

I have two 2960-s switches that I would like to connect to two 3750 switches that are stacked. All the switches are on a single VLAN (default 1)

If we use the two SFP ports on the 2960s to connect to each of the 3750 sfp ports using 1000BASE-T SFP modules, would this work?

Has anyone got the cisco links to get this working, or a command list?

    Thanks

I think this should work. Never tried the SFP ports without a trunk but it should work. Since its just a flat layer 2 network they dont have to be trunks either, just access ports. IMO though I would segment your layer 2 network into vlans.
