  • Running config viewer

Does anyone know of a tool that I can use to load a cisco asa config into so I can view it?

I did find a free cisco config viewer but it doesn't seem to be available anymore.

    Thanks

    Re: Running config viewer

I just use notepad or wordpad to view a config. Solarwinds had a config viewer but like you said I dont see it anymore.

I use notepad++, it's notepad on steriods. Has plugins that allow you to do allot of things with ease. I like the fact that it has line numbers and allows me to use gnupg to encrypt and decrypt on the fly from within the app.

I'd second notepad++ for viewing and editing and text file especially Cisco configuration files.

Another great soft is Emeditor. One of the most useful feature is in find function. It selects all results at once, I love it.

EmEditor looks good. I may check that out.
