  • SR 520 Router TCP Ports

Does anyone know how to force TCP port 7070 open on a Cisco SR520 Router?

I have an application that uses port 7070 to communicate between two local XP Pro workstations (one workstation is at 192.168.0.211, the other is at 192.168.0.214, both are on VLAN75).

What IOS command can I give the router to force the port open between these two devices?

    Thanks, Rob

they are both on the same VLAN, same subnet ?
the router shouldn't even come into the equation.

      Tehcamel,

The connection problem between the two local workstations began when I replaced a SonicWall router with this Cisco SR520. That is why I believe it is the router that is blocking the port.

i'd pick this as a starting point

        http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/rout...ml#wpxref77681

and if that fails, utilise your cisco support contract.

I can't even think of how this could be the problem
