    hi guys, what's the main purpose a cisco layer 3 switch? thanks.

    Well, if you have a stack of switches, like in a rack, you need to put them in the correct order (layer 2 on top of layer 1 and so on) otherwise they don't work

      Ossian thanks, now I know why my switch stack didn't work, my layer 8 switch was at the bottom. Moved it to the top, and all is fine now.
