  • How do I know if my Cisco Catalist Switch is Flat ?

    Hi,

    I have a Cisco Catalyst 3750 Switch.
How do I know if my Cisco Catalist Switch is Flat ?

I mean, no Vlans, and I can use all ports with the same network ?

    Thanks

I believe show interfaces would give you what you need.

      use the

      show int status

command, and it will give you a list of the vlan set on each port.

Try a show vlan. It will show you all VLANs on the switch and what ports are assisgned to a vlan. If all ports are in the same vlan, you have yourself a flat switch.

the command show interface status will display all ports on the switch and which VLAN's they are configured to static access.

If you wish to configure all ports on the switch you'd use the interface range fa0/1 - 24 command or 48 depending on how many ports you have then configure those ports to access a a particular vlan number via the switchport access vlan #
