  • Error Message after cold start of Cisco Router 7200 Series

I am getting a error message each time I cold boot the Cisco 7200 Series Router. The message is:

monitor nvram area is corrupt ... using default values
C7200 platform with 262144 Kbytes of main memory

    What does this mean?

    Hi agehani

Sounds like you have a hardware problem. You can run the command "test memory" however I would read the following link about the caveats. I would recommend you call Cisco TAC if you have a smartnet for your device.
