  • Cisco 887W - 802.11n but only 10/100 ports?

Please, somebody tell me I'm going insane.

I'm looking to replace my excellent 877 with something supporting wireless, preferably 802.11n, but still with an ADSL interface.. The 887W looks good, but it only has 10/100 ports.

How can 300Mbps be achieved on 802.11n if the NICs on the unit are only 10/100? Traffic cannot possibly get from a wireless device to a server on the LAN at 300Mbps.

Or have I lost the plot?

Does seem daft, although 100mb FD will work at 200mbps

    Although thats still not 300mbps.

Not seen the specs of the router, but i also wasnt aware cisco made the 887w to the n standard either? (Mainly used the 857/877W routers)
