  • cisco ip phone 7960 problems after power outage

    We have a network outage and now the all the phones are working in half duplex - any calls from outside or inside, we can hear the other line but they cannot hear us. We reset the cisco unity server but still to no avail. This happen only to our branch site and not from the central office. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    PS. Sorry if I posted on the wrong area, just correct me. Thanks.

    Moving it to Cisco forum -- maybe inappropriate as it is VOIP but probably better than hardware!

    Do you have any sort of support contract with Cisco?

      We only have support for Unity Server and software, not the phone hardware. It's weird but I don't know why. Unless all the phones from our 9 branch sites are zapped - I doubted but then again...
