  • multicat configuration

    HI everyone

    I would like to configure multicast and i am new to this
    i have a Cisco 6509 ly3 core sw on this sw there are number of vlans 200-220
    and to this sw connected two sws which represent vlan 200 and vlan 201
    on vlan 200 there are 12 static ip to be configure to connect to two ips on vlan 201 how could i confgure this with an address of multicasting

    Hmm I dont understand why you want to implement multicasting. Can you be a little more specific?

        The best thing you could do is lookup the configuration guide for your switch on cisco's website. There are alot of choices such as pim-dense pim-sparse pim sparse-dense, auto-rp etc. I would do some research on it to see what your switch supports etc.
