  • SDM and Javal Latest Version

    Hi Guyz.!!!

    Have anyone found the solution SDM with the latest Java.

    My SDM works fine with the older version but when i installed the latest version of Java, it doesnt work.

    Nope, you should use the older version then. It's a sad thing that Cisco build it like this but it's the only way to work with it..

      The person who runs the SDM team at Cisco is an asshole.

        Sounds about right for Cisco. One of the telephony engineers i was working with had to roll back to a previous version of Java because the IP call logger didnt support the newer versions. The SDM is the poorest excuse for a GUI iv ever seen. The fact it has to leverage Java makes it even worse. Its actually easier using CLI.

          I had to create a XP based VM dedicated strictly for SDM use.

          It's like working with NT, any tiny change could break the darn thing.

            Thats the exact same advice i gave our telephony engineers along with a link to VMware playewr 3.
