  • 800 seies (877) - disconnect stale SSH?

    Hi all,

Yesterday I used SSH to access my router, and whilst connected I had a local LAN problem. It looks like the sessions is hung:

    Code:
    Cisco877#show caller
                                                      Active Idle
      Line User Service Time Time
      vty 2 root VTY 1d18h 1d18h
      vty 3 root VTY 00:06:52 00:00:00
      Vi3 <unknown phone number> \
                                        PPPoATM 1w4d 00:00:05
    (I'm session vty 3 today).

I've tried to disconnect it but I get this strange message:

    Code:
    Cisco877#disc ssh 2
% VTY4 is not an open connection
Can anyone suggest the best way to drop that stale connection?

    Many thanks,

    Jim

Amazing how you spend two hours looking for the answer, then find it 30 seconds after posting to a forum

    Code:
    sh ssh
listed the SSH sessions, but as 0 and 1. So

    Code:
    disc ssh 0
    was what I needed....
