  • Access lists etc - can I name hosts?

    Hi all,

    ISO 12.4(24)T1, Cisco 877.

I have lots of references to a couple of internal LAN servers. For example:

    Code:
    ip host www.domain1.co.uk 192.168.1.50
    ip host www.domain2.co.uk 192.168.1.50
    !
ip nat inside source static tcp 192.168.1.50 25 interface Dialer0 25
ip nat inside source static tcp 192.168.1.50 80 interface Dialer0 80
ip nat inside source static tcp 192.168.1.50 443 interface Dialer0 443
There's lots more open ports, these are just examples.

Is there a way to create some form of alias for 192.168.1.50 to make the config more legible? e.g.

    Code:
    ip host www.domain1.co.uk Webserver
    ip host www.domain2.co.uk Webserver
    !
ip nat inside source static tcp Webserver 25 interface Dialer0 25
ip nat inside source static tcp Webserver 80 interface Dialer0 80
ip nat inside source static tcp Webserver 443 interface Dialer0 443
    etc.

    Many thanks,

    Jim
