  • N belkin wireless router with cisco 2800 router combination

    HI guys

Please can you help! I am trying to setup a wireless access point to our existing ethernet LAN. We are running a Cisco Catalyst 2950 switch and Cisco 2800 series Router. I bought a Belkin N Wireless router and have tried to make it transparent but it seems like it is designed for a home type application where a ADSL cable can be connected straight from the wall and into the modem and instantly you have an independant LAN. I would try connecting one of the LAN connections RJ-45 to the ADSL input but its a different connection (smaller 6-pin type???).

So my question would be are wireless hub / access points available which are specifically designed to operate in the LAN type environment and would I be right in saying that an Aironet solution would be over kill as i simply need a single room access point fo max 2 users at a time?

Thanks guys! I appreciate any help I can get!
