  • Fowarding ports for Xbox 360 open NAT

Some background info: in order for Xbox360 to work best behind a router with NAT configuration, it needs specific ports configured to the inside static address. Microsoft refers to it as "open NAT." I have this configured on my 871W router with success:

ip nat inside source static udp 192.168.254.240 88 interface FastEthernet4 88
ip nat inside source static udp 192.168.254.240 3074 interface FastEthernet4 3074
ip nat inside source static tcp 192.168.254.240 3074 interface FastEthernet4 3074
ip nat inside source static udp 192.168.254.240 1259 interface FastEthernet4 1259

I have a 2nd Xbox 360 and am wondering if there's a way to support both of them without dedicated outside addresses for them. Of course, if I do the above with the 2nd X360's IP address, it replaces the original; makes sense. Is there a way to do what I need that I'm missing? Thanks!

These are 1:1 I'm afraid so the answer is no unless you get hold of a second public IP. The router wouldn't know where to send the info it there were two destination devices.
    cheers
