    Here is the info I get from "show interface." Could this point to a failing router, bad config, or a hardware issue? Any help would be great.

    6 million packets input and 688 errors, I would say there is nothing wrong to worry about.

      Mr.Andy how it could be possible that there is nothing wrong?

      If input error is increasing then there will be packet drop it could be less or more.



      sead0nkey-Input error means you need to check physical cabling of your side as well as remote side .
