  • Help with NAT on cisco router

    Hello All,

I have a 3662 router and a catalyst 3550-48 switch. I have fa0/1 configured for a public IP (IPs supplied by cable ISP and distributed via a cisco 851 router basically acting as a switch), and I have fa0/0 configured as 192.168.1.1 for a private LAN. I tried to setup NAT on the 3662 and when i connect the catalyst to fa0/0 i can't ping any outside IP, i can only ping the catalyst's IP, fa0/0, and the 3662's gateway (the cable provider's cisco). I want to run static IP's on my LAN. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
