  • Policy Routing

I need some advices from you guys : I'm using the topology as you can see in attachment. I need to route the packets from the two layer 2 LANs in two different ways : (between the R1, R2 and R3 exist on OSPF routing protocol )
    1. If source IP is (Server 1) and destination IP is the traffic must go on R1's F1/1 interface (the upper link that goes through R3)
    2. for any other cases the traffic will go through the direct link.

To make this possible I want to use route-map, something like this :

    R1(config)#int f0/0
    R1(config-if)# ip address
    R1(config-if)#no shut
    R1(config-if)#ip policy route-map Sync_Link
    R1(config)# access-list 111 permit ip host host
    R1(config)#route-map Sync_Link permit 10
    R1(config)#match ip address 111
    R1(config)#set interface f1/1

Is this example suitable for my needs?
Another question is how can I route the servers traffic automatically on direct link between R1 and R3 if R2 goes down?
    Thanks in advance.
