  • Config IP for reload

    Hi,

I want to alter the network config on an access point but not the running config.

So that I can change it ip details and not loose connectivity until it reloads.

    Is this possible?

    Cheers,
    Roger.

    Re: Config IP for reload

Do a "dir all" to see where your startup-config is.

    mine is in nvram.

copy your running-config to a tftp server. modify it to what it should look like after the IP change.

    then "copy tftp://[ipaddr]/[filename] nvram:startup-config"

    i used: "copy tftp://192.168.13.25/korny-confg nvram:startup-config"

    then reload WITHOUT saving

when you tftp the config to your computer, just open it with notepad or wordpad.
