  • Cisco 2811 as a bridge

For some special purposes I need the following configuration:

    x.x.x.1-Cisco2811-x.x.x.2 ---- Ethernet ---- x.x.x.3-Cisco2811-x.x.x.4

This is because the subnets behind the 2811s must be the same.

As I know a router can work as a bridge, but when I tried bridge-group command at the network simulator it didn't work. It also doesn't work when I assign a router's ethernet interfaces the addresses from the one range (router writes that addresses are overlapped). So if it's possible, please help me configure these two 2811s as bridges to connect two offices like with switch (but really I must use 2811)
