  • Aironet 1131 AG Access Point with no indicators

I have a Cisco Aironet 1131 AG Access Point that has no LEDs lit when applied power. This includes Ethernet link lights and the two management lights in the bottom right hand corner. I have tried PoE and a direct power brick, but no luck. Is there some secret way to reset the device or to diagnose the problem? It's 2 months out of warranty.

I'd rather this thing NOT be a paperweight.

If it's showing there is no power going in at all then it's nothing "resetting" can do.
You just have to make sure (If you can by using another one) that the Power supply is in order and maybe replace the "kettle lead" and use a different socket to be certain that the problem lies with the device itself.
If that's the case then, you can give Cisco a ring and see what they suggest.

    Good luck
