  • Usage Information for Last Login

I have a Cisco 2800 series and a Cisco Pix 515e. My remote users uses Cisco VPN client to connect to our LAN. Then they use map drives to our Win2003 server to access files.

I would like to know if it's possible to get this information:
    1. When the remote users last login into PIX to get authenticated so they access their files. They simple have an ID and password they use with the Cisco VPN client software.

    2. How often they remote into our LAN in a given time frame.

    Thanks

Yea the Cisco PDM "Pix Device Manager" should allow you to perform these tasks. However I do know it monitors in real time, not sure if it stores a log file.

You can setup a syslog and get the logs run through a parser (if that is the right word).
