  • Adding unknown NAT entries...

Is it possible for a network node to automatically add a NAT entry into a cisco asa 5505? I seem to have an entry that shows up from time to time and its an NAT exempt entry with the source being an internal network (172.16.1.0) and the destination being a single internal network address with port 25 attached (172.16.1.128/25). This is applied to the outbound interface. There is another person in our organization that has the access to the router but he knows nothing of this entry. Either someone is creating this entry or I've got some security issue with a node and spyware creating this entry. I'm stumped?

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks
