  • trafficshaping on a cisco router in bridge mode

    Hi,

im wondering if its possible to bridge two infaces (INSIDE eth0 & OUTSIDE eth1) on my cisco 831 router and to apply a trafficshaping acl.

i do not want to trafficshape the whole interface just one host behind the inside interface -is this possible?

I guess I don't understand why you would want to traffic shape one host on an Ethernet to Ethernet connection. As far as I remember you cannot traffic shape bridged traffic. You can run some QOS at layer two though. When you talk about inside and outside LAN interfaces one usually assumes you are talkinig about that in terms of a firewall and bridging over firewalled interfaces is not a normal practice.
