    Hello friends,

    Once again I need your help.

    I have a Cisco Catalyst 4506 in my network, I want to update current IOS with the latest one available with Cisco. The problem is I don't know the versions on IOS to update which version to download. Please tell me how to update IOS without disturbing any of the current configuration, how much MEMORY is required and how much memory my CHASSIS has. Please give me step by step guidance because I am a fresher. My CHASSIS details are as follows

    Just tell me what is the new version of IOS compatible with my Catalyst 4506.

      Have you checked the Cisco web site?

        For latest IOS images and information you will need to have a support contract with Cisco and access the images via the Cisco Web page. Is there a reason you want to upgrade the code other then to just have the latest code? If not stick with what you have.
