  • How to Enable NAT in cisco 3560 switch

    Dear all,


    I am newby to cisco i have a task to complete in my office i have cisco 3560 switch and with public ip. i need to share internet to users i wanna to be Nat can anybody give me the good solution how to implement nat

    Nat is not an option on that platform. Its not supported. I think the only layer 3 switch capable of NAT is a 6500 with a firewall module.

      If you can give me details of
      1.lan ip and wan ip
      2. wheather u want to all your user to access the internet
      3. wheather u wanna no to allow outsider to not use your sever

        my internal pool 192.168.2.1 And external is 220.227.x.x

        Yes i wanna to allow all the users to use the internet

          Switch Can't do NAT.
          You need to buy a Router of a Firewall or wat packet already told a 6500 with a firewall module. The firewall module will do NAT

            You don't need an FWSM to do NAT on a 6500. Some supervisors will even do it in hardware.
