  • Fibre Cable question (switch to switch)

    Hey guys,
    Quick question.
I have very limited knowledge of fibre optics.
    My situation is as follows.
    I need to connect a cisco 2960 with a 1000BaseSX SFP to a 2950 with a WS-G5484 GBIC

My question is regarding the fibre cable required.
From what I can gather, the connectors on the cables will be LC Duplex (for the SFP) to SC Duplex (for the GBIC)
    Is this right?
Do the cables need to be crossed over when terminated at the switch?

    Thanks in advance

    TDM
