  • Creating IP routing for two 2800 Series Router

I have a sitaution as follows.

In one Office they have 2 CISCO 2800 series with 3 Ethernet ports.

    The following is their configuration

    Main Office(Marketing & Sales)

    RouterMS#

    en0/0# 128.168.1.1 255.255.0.0 - For marketing

    eno/1# 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 - For Sales

    en0/2# no ip
    shut

In another office (in the same building;Administration)

    RouterCF#

    en0/0# 128.168.2.1 255.255.0.0 - Collection Department

    en0/1# 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.0 - Finance Auditing

    en0/2# no ip
    shut

How will I connect these two routers? What will be the routing table?

Re: Creating IP routing for two 2800 Series Router

they each need an interface on the same network - which they have. the e0/0 on each is in the same subnet, due to the subnet mask.

thus, connect those two LANs together then you could say, run RIP on all interfaces to exchange routes for this small network.

does that tell you what you need?
