  • Port Forwarding in IOS

    Hello:

I'm learning IOS and hoping that some of the knowledgeable folks post the config lines required to forward incoming traffic from TCP port 3389 on the public interface (FastEthernet0) to TCP port 3389 on a private node connected to the private interface (Vlan1). I've read many books about NAT and Access Lists, but all my port forwarding attempts failed. I assume I would need a couple of static NAT entries and a couple of access list entries to open port 3389 on the public interface. I think I need the "established" parameter to drive returning traffic back to the calling host, but I'm not sure how to do that.

    TIA,

    Mart

You need to permit acess to ports 6129 and 3389 in your ACL 102.

access-list 102 permit tcp any any eq 3389
access-list 102 permit tcp any any eq 6199
        Thanks,
