  • Disable Roaming Profile for admins

    Hi im running an win2k3 machine as Terminal server on a domain. All users that is created get automatic Roaming profile.

    Because the User Domain Policy enabled with this policy

    Set path for TS Roaming Profiles Enabled
    Delete cached copies of roaming profiles Enabled

    Now i created an new OU with

    Set path for TS Roaming Profiles Disabled No Override enabled.


    and placed an user in it. and deleted his profile from the roaming profile location.


    But it still Roams and creates profile when i run gpresult.exe i still shows :

    Roaming Profile: \\DC01\Profiles\admin1


    on user propertys all fields are empyt

      Could the setting be picked up from the machine, not the user?

      The TS policy is in Computer Settings

        yes it is configges in the computer part

          So you will need to put the computer in the relevant OU, not the user
