  • Default User Profile

    Hi all

    Im running win2k3 with Ts servers
    I have made a Default User Profile and placed it in \\server\netlogon

    we have roaming profiles

    created an new user evrything works ok only i cant start msoffice 2000 thats installed on the ts server when i click on the word icon there flases quick an installer and nothing happens.


    Anyone know how to fix this?

    Did you installed Office correctly for Terminal Server?

      yes it works with the orginal Default User Profile but not with my custom made Def usr prof

        1. I dont recommanded to use roaming profile and there no real need them for
        most of the companies.
        It recommanded to use folder redirection etc.

        2. The Netlogon shouldnt be use to host any files beside scripts, simple
        adminitrative tools etc.

        3. You should edit the default profile on the server it self. I wouldnt be
        useful to edit the network profile in this way.
