  • Remote desktop via web error

    Hi everybody ,

I configured a windows2003 and installed the tsweb (I did everything that was written on the tutorial in this site ).
It is working fine when i'm on the intranet , but when i'm trying to connect from outside is giving me the following error .
    I've also configured my firewall : port 3389 / and port 80 .

    Any suggestions ??

    See you .

The server under "Remote Desktop" or "Application" mode? If you run in "Application" mode, you will need buy "Internet Connector" Licensse for the TS.
If you are using "Remote Desktop" mode, is the problem occur after using RDP 5.2 client (without thr wen access)?

      Hi Yuval ,
      Thanks for answering me .
The server is under Remote Desktop and the RDP is 5.2 .
I believe that is a security manner but I really don't see what .
In intern it is working perfectly but when I 'm trying to connect from outside he is giving me the error on the screen !!!!.

Re: Remote desktop via web error

If you are using remote desktop mode then I think that you need to check the firewall settings.

Source Ports: Any, Target Port: TCP 3389
Source IP: Any/IP, Target IP: The server internal IP.

          Hi Yuval ,
          Thanks for you reply.

I did configured my firewall with
Source Ports: Any, Target Port: TCP 3389
Source IP: Any/IP, Target IP: The server internal IP.

          But always the same message.

Re: Remote desktop via web error

Can you run msinfo32.exe coommand, save the file NFO, zip it and send it to:
                  [email protected] please?
Please be aware that this log contain information on hardware/software etc.
                  before you send it.

Also, verity that the account that you use have Administrator right on the computer it self and its set to have remote desktop enable.

(is in my place so , i don't need max protection).
