  • Name Based RDP - Multiple Terminal Servers Behind Single IP? Is This Possible?

Similar to Apache Virtual Host, is it possible to host multiple Terminal Servers behind a single IP without changing the terminal service port? For instance:

    client1-ts.company.com >
    client2-ts.company.com > > Firewall > >Multiple Terminal Servers
    client3-ts.company.com >

Each RDP request is forwarded to the correct terminal server based on the domain name they are connecting to, and all the Terminal Servers are behind the same IP address.

Traditionally, you would have to put each Terminal Server behind their own IP address or change the Terminal Service port for each Terminal Server.

I realize this would require a firewall which supports this (which I don't think there are any) or a front end server that analyzes each RDP request and routes them based on the domain name in the request.

Now the main question... Is there any software that does this??? If not, does anybody know enough about RDP to know if it is even possible to create software that will do this?

Please review Microsoft Terminal Gateway doc. or third party solutions (e.g. Juniper SSL VPN etc.)
