  • Error 1000 (Application Error) in Event Logs of XenApp 6 Servers - Win2k8 R2

    Hello Everyone,

    We have 6 Xenapp servers (Xenapp6) running on Win2K8 R2 (64 bit) and we are getting application error 1000 on all our XenApp servers. Below are few of the errors:

    The list is never ending. I would really appreciate any help in this. Not sure what is causing these errors?

      One of the forums posted that This issue occurs because some allocated memory is not freed when you use the Win32_Service WMI class to query some service information. The "Win32_Service" WMI class leaks memory in Windows Server 2008 R2 causing application to crash. There is a hotfix : MS KB 981314 but I am not sure if this is something that will fix the issue? Has someone any information about this Hotfix, if it is for this issue?

        try it and see.

        have you read the info on the patch? that will tell you whether or not it's suitable.


        also run memory check on them.

          Hi,

          Please install all Citrix updates + Win 2008 R2 SP1. Then, please update us if this issue occur again...

          bdw.. Did you tried to disable the antivirus?!
