  • system can't determine if member of AD DS

    hello all

im in the (slow) process of upgrading our domain from 2000 to 2008.

we currently have 2 servers moved over to 2008 so far these are:

    mailserver

new PDC which hasn't yet had the FSMO roles transferred. for arguments sake i will call this server "bob"

the mailserver install went great, the install on "bob" went fine also, "bob" has RD licensing installed on it an will provide the licenses for all of our TS clients, however i have noticed an exclamation mark within the licensing manager saying

"The system can not determine if the license server is a member of the TSLS group on Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) because the AD DS cannot be contacted"

i have been through AD an there is no mention of AD DS!?

i did run "adprep /domainprep" on the current GC before i did the installs

is the error because i still have y2k TS?

    thanks

Please point the TS manually to the RD license Server:
