  • Terminal Server Change Font Question

    Hello

    I have two Question we are testing out a new Terminal servers 2008. We have bought 10 Hp T5740 thin clients to connect to RDp server.
    1. Should i join the con outer the Active Directory?
    2. How do you change the font for certain users, some users like small fonts and other want large fonts?

    1. The TS servers need to be added to the domain. For thin clients, you can add them to the domain and manage them (e.g. GPO, Windows updates etc.).

    2. I dont recommanded to create a special settings per X users. This may lead to technical issues in the future. However, you can review GPO or:

      In relation to Q 2., you cannot by default define font sizing like you could with 2003, that's if I'm reading the question correctly (DPI scaling)

      What we do for users who have a requirement to have a larger font is set a registry for the current user. Lmk if this is what you want and I post the information up
