  • Unable to change Idle Session Limit timeout

    Hi All,

I am running a single 2008 Terminal Server in a 2003 Domain. Users are complaining that they are being timed out after 30 minutes of an idle session. I can see that this setting is configured in the Sessions tab of the RDP-Tcp connection in Terminal Services Configuration but it is greyed out and I am unsure how to change it.

I have read that we 'must have some policies configured elsewhere', but I have looked at both User and Computer Group Policies and the Local Policies on the server and they are all set to 'Not Configured'.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Jim

Please use RSOP or gpresult to find out what are the GPOs that set to the TS.

      Hi yuval14,

Thanks for the. Should have thought of this myself!

I have found the offending policy put in place pre-me and will change it.
