  • TS Gateway with a Server 2003 Terminal Server

So following my last post here I've managed to get my hands on a Server 2008 R2 machine. My Question is two-fold.

    1) Can my TS Gateway machine be Server 2008 and my Terminal Server be 2003 or do they both need to be 2008.

    2) Is it possible to have OWA running on IIS that is not on the same server as the Exchange server?

Thanks in advance, and my apologies for the newbie questions.

1.I didnít check this scenario, but according MS docs there no information on this scenario.
You can do a short test (e.g. you may need to change some security settings manually Ė like local group Membership etc.). However, there is no guarantee that this solution will work.

Its will be wise to check if there a third party solution for this scenario.

2.Exchange 5.5 had this feather. Exchange 2007/2010 allow you to host CAS role on different server.
