  • Terminal Server 2003 Anonymous logon

    Hello,

I was wondering if you can configure Windows 2003 Terminal Server with anonymous logon.
The reason for this is that we have an application which doesn't support Vista/Win7/2008 Server.
Therefore I was thinking to setup an Windows 2003 Terminal Server, but with the easy that no login is needed, nor configured for every user.
I know this is possible with Citrix, but this solutions would be to expensive for only this application.

As soon as the users log's on, it would start the software. If needed, I can modify the startup batchfile to be able to connect to the Windows 2008 fileserver.

    Does anyone has any suggestions?

You can create RDP file with build in user/password and send it to users.

This may provide the same solution (Citrix also using a generic account for anonymous logon...).

bdw.. Did you tried to use:

    Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit 5.5
