  • Terminal SErvices-more than one TS Server

    Hi

Just trying to add a second TS server to a windows 2003 network.

Currently it is on a seperate external IP but doesn't have to be.

Is there any guidance anywhere about adding more than one TS servers - I would like specific users only to logon to this one - hence the different IP.

Any guideance on setting up more than one TS server appreciated please.

    Thanks

There is no official guide. However, I usually use a unique VLAN for the TS farm.
Also, you can use NLB or other load balancer to create a load balance solution.
If you are using Windows 2003 Enterprise, you can also use a method named “Session Directory” – That allow users to reconnect to exits session, in case of connection problem.
