  • TS Listening Port

    Hey everyone,

I am trying to change the port that TS listens on for its RDP connections from 3389 to 3390 (I also set the needed settings on the router to have requests that are coming to port 3390 go the different server). I followed the FAQ that MS had for changing the registry but it I still wasnt able to log in remotely. Do I need to reset a service or the server for the registry settings to take effect?

    Thanks!

    Re: TS Listening Port

    Did you use rdp as:

    serverort ???

Also, you can usr this NAT rule in most of the routers/firewalls:

Change from port: 3390 TCP to 3389 TCP for example.

      Re: TS Listening Port

I want to use RDP on port 3390 for this particular server.

In my firewall I set all requests going through port 3390 to go to the terminal server's IP. Unfortunately, the firewall will only allow me to send a port request to a certain IP.
