    1. Why to buy Windows 2003 Ent when you can buy (in less price) Win 2008 R2 St. ?

    2. The amount of TS CAL are = 0. However, you will have open to use remote administrative
CAL for remote Admin of the server.

Well, Ent does come with 25 CALs (Not TS CALs) while Std only comes with 5
also there may be other reasons why they want 2003 and not 2008

But as said, TS CALs are not included. You get the ability to have two Remote Admin connections plus the console.

If you activate Terminal Server on the box you will get unlimited access for 120 days, enough time to buy CALs and put in your licensing infrastructure

        Thank you Yuval & Tom

Yuval, i need the Enterprise Edition because my server has 12 GB Ram, i guess, Standard Edition only supports 4 GB.

Yeap, but X64 can support more then 16 GB in the standard edition.
Also, Win 2003 will get out from MS support in a short time from now.
