  • Windows 2003 R2 Terminal Services & Printers

    Hi Guys,

We have got a Windows 2003 R2 Server which is a Domain Controller has Terminal Server installed and has 10 printers installed most of them are Network Based Printers and some are Adobe PDF Writer. All Printers are installed on the server. We are not using Client Printers on the TS Server or using Client Printer Redirects.

We are setting up a small branch office

Their are 5 Users in the branch off that will have access to our Terminal Server. What I need to do is instead of 10 Printers show up in the Printer Dialog Box when going to Print. I need away using Group Policy to only show 3of the Printers for particular users in the branch office using TS.

I know this can be done as I have seen it before in places. But don't know where to look in Group Policy.

Is their a tutorial or article that has steps on how to do it.

Did you tried to create ACL on the printers it self?!
