  • Prevent users install software on Windows Terminal Server 2003

    Hey
    I have a Terminal server with almost 30 - 35 users ( HP DL380 G5 5345 16GB of RAM)
I mentioned some new software installed on terminal server.
basically users can not install software on terminal server, but there are some applications that allow users to install them for instance : " Gom player"
what can i do to prevent them install these kind of apps.

    1. Use GPO to block download and access to file system etc.

    2. Block internet connection to this server.

    3. Consider to move to Windows 2008 etc. and use published applications.
