  • Printing to printer on Vista client

We have a TS running Server 2003. Until recently, all client machines were running WinXP, and printers mapped correctly.

However, we now have a client machine running Vista, and the printer connected to it doesn't map correctly, because the Vista driver isn't recognised as being the same as the XP one installed on the TS.

I've tried using the XP driver on Vista, and this works to actually print, but jobs stay in the queue after printing and prevent other jobs printing.

Can anyone suggest a solution, please?

    Thanks,

    Gary

    1. Try to setup failback driver:

    2. Try to map printer drivers:

    3. Try to obtain a new driver for the printer.
