  • Remote Applications - Drive Mapping

We have an application that needs to use a drive mapping to a unc path that is currently being used in branch offices for another purpose. Is it possible to launch a .rdp application and have it remove the branch drive mapping (h: \\branchoffice\%username%) and replace it with another unc path hosted in the data center (h: \\Datacenter\%username%?) - And can we release the mapping when the application is quit?

    Thanks for any tips!

What is the TS operating system?
You have the option to "Start the following program on connection" in the rdp file which means you could launch a batch to map drives. You could then have a desktop shortcut to another batch file to release the drives once the user has quit the application
