  • logging terminal server users

    Hi All:

We're using Windows 2003 with terminal services. Is there any way/any software for logging the activities of terminal server users? I mean when they log in, log out, create and/or delete files, etc.?

    Thanks
    Neeraj

Enable auditing in GPO for that OU under the security policy. Check the security tab in the event viewer which will then display the necessary details that are being audited.

You will also need to go to the auditing options in the advanced NTFS permissions. You can then add 'authenticated users' as the group to monitor on the appropriate files and folders.

Correct IF Object Access is also checked in the security policy audit.
