  • TS Windows 2003 adding all users printers

So I have a user when logging into TS they see all printers for all current logged in users, she will have almost 100 printers at times. I removed her from the administrator group of the domain but she is still having the same issue (not to sure who added it in the first place). Any ideas?

This is a domain environment, the TS is Windows 2003 Server w/ SP2 installed.

    I would recreate her profile.
Why was she in the domain admins group at the first place?

Hmm what would you recommend the best way to do this? She is the CFO and testy so I dont want to cause issues.

And I dont know why she was part of the domain admin's another user was setup the same way, previous consultant was an idiot.

        Hi there,
my first real post so hope its not too dumb.

I've had this very issue up until this morning.
Is the user definitely NOT in the printer operators group either?
Yesterday i check out printer operators group and it was empty and indeed printer operators was not a member of any other groups.
When i elevated this query to our higher tech support, the technician said he simply moved the domain users group out of the printer operators group. Yet when i looked they weren't even in there for him to move.

So, maybe just double-check that the domain users or whatever her default group is, is NOT a member of power users, printer operators or admins.

        Hope it helps.

I recreated the user's profile and it resolved it for awhile, but it's back. Any clues? It is only user's whose session are active, if they are not currently in a active session (though they may be logged in) the printer's will not show

I have triple checked the groups nothing over lapping
