  • Access Management Console - Citrix

I have installed the Access Management on the server which has the citrix presentation server. I log in using the default administrator.
In the AMC I see there is option to add users and set the permissions. I have created a user and given him view permission.

So now how will the user access the presentation server thru the AMC? Do we have to install the AMC onto his winxp pro machine?

The win2k3 server onto which the presentation server is installed is a standalone server with the testuser.

Infact I trid to install the AMC component onto the user desktop but when discover and run - it says the RPC is unavailabe and cannot find the win2k3server.
When I logout the administrator and try to login using the testuser - I get error message that the user has to be a part of RDP users group to login locally. I have added the user to the RDP group yet Iam unable to login.

    Any help pl.
    Thank you

      Hi!
      Thanks for the reply.
no I did not. Can you pass me the link for it?
Iam basically trying to manage the presentation server from my desktop thru Access management and not by RDP into server and invoking the AM.

      Thank you
      Regards

Re: Access Management Console - Citrix

I am viewing the documentation and trying to troubleshoot the issue.
It lools like I dont have the Citrix MFCOM service installed on my desktop.
I have installed the Presentation server console and it connects fine.

Any idea where I can get the MFCOM service to install?

        thanks

Why dodn't you publish the AMC for that user?

              Hi! Killerbe,
Thank you for the reply, yes I have published the AMC and it works.
Thank you. Iam going thru the documentation provided by yuval and trying to se eif it works by installing the AMC on the client machine and pointing it to Citrix server.

              Thank you
