  • Windows Server x64 and driver for printer

    Hi!

I have Windows Server 2003 R2 Service Pack 2 x64 standard edition. I installed print driver for x64 system on server, when I connect to server from client machine with print driver x86 and I don't see this printer in my server's session.

Anybody knows how to solve this problem?

Is the printer shared at all?

If so, you might need to add x86 print drivers on the server if you haven't already done it.

    - Browse to the print server from your 32-Bit machine (With admin rights on the server)
    - Go into the printer and faxes
    - R-click - Server Properties
    - Go to drivers tab and try adding the x86 driver from there.

Is this server running in Terminal Server mode or have you posted in the incorrect forum? Ta.

I have installed terminal service on Windows Server 2003 x64 edition. Then I added drivers x86 for printers nothing changed.
