  • Client Printer on RDP session

    Hello,

I have been having the following problem:

    - Domain Controller (also print server) [Windows 2003 STD]

-Terminal Server (member of DC) [Windows 2003 STD]

Clients RDP into the terminal service and login just fine.
When they have the local resources printers option checked so they can see their local printers on their computers, the printer/s dont seem to show up in the RDP session.

Any ideas what I can do so the printers are shown?
The printers that are deployed through the DC are shown on the session though. Its just the ones from the remote client that are not shown.

    Thanks very much.

Note: it does map the microsoft word writer and fax printers on the local machine by the way

Nevermind, I just tried several things, and its just adding the printer drivers to the print server spool :P

Simple but kinda a pain, if there are lots of users with 2-3x printers each :/

Looks like the ISP had it cache as was sending the cache to the users.
I told them that it was riculous, ask them to remove me from cache servers as I need per minute update on sites hehe.
